House in Murcia
Furniture as organizer
A tiny house of just about 45 square meters in which a loft space wasn´t an option. This gave room to a project that furnish most of the perimeter with less flexible program like kitchen and bathroom, while the rest of the house is solved by using a single T shaped storage element. This element is a strategy to obtain several rooms part of a more fluid whole.
The central T furniture works as a structure free standing on the floor, achieving a different feeling of that of the rigid traditional partitioning. It hosts at the same time a hidden bed, kitchen furniture, storage, and a wardrove acting simultaneously as a spacer from the bathroom area.
The lack of natural light on this apartment made necessary the integration of built-in light in the main T element, using glass diffusers. Surfaces of light with dimmable LED creating a unique lighting experience erasing the feeling of a dimly lit space.
