La Guirlande is one of the most versatile ensembles specialising in historically informed performance of 18th and 19th century music. Their strong character and clarity of their ideas guides their brand creation. The unquestionable affiliation of the ensemble to the spirit of the 18th century was magnified in the art direction..

The logotype is a contemporary composition using Louis 14th desired type, the Didot, as its basis. This makes it capable of adapting to any application by extending the type´s serif.

A curated selection of baroque paintings from a variety of authors, engravings, and original musical scores of that age, are all used to convey the same ideas of the performed music. The subject of the chosen artworks always meet the nuance of the musical programme created by La Guirlande.

Coherence is maintained throughout the applications. A precise balance between contemporary elements and baroque iconography is a constant both in digital applications and multimedia content, and on printed media, stationary, dossier and signage.
