Lago

Lago is an elemental object conceived as a free, boundless gesture contained within stone. A piece of great geometric complexity whose formal restraint nevertheless lies at the base of its design. Its curves bound a material that would otherwise extend beyond its limits, producing a sense of repose in the contained matter. Stone and steel are the only elements of a table that investigates the apparent contradiction between the essential and its formal complexity.
